Programm :

Date : Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of July 2003. Start is possible from Basel (12th July, for 2 days) or from Nyon (13th of July, 1 day). NOT CANCELLED in case of rain.

Meeting point and end at Laufen (CH). Why near Basel ? Because if you have a look to this Speedster map you'll notice that it's the swiss place where you're likely to gather the most Swiss french, Swiss German and German Speedster owners

We'll sleep in Nyon (VD), because Sunday's trip starts there, with the fabulous "road to St-Cergue". Swiss French people will easily join us there Sunday morning.

SATURDAY (From Basel to Nyon) :

- Meeting point at Laufen at 11AM. Please take with you your own lunch + drinks, because we'll eat a while after.

- Start from Basel, driving to Nyon  (~300km) : 1st part 2nd part 3rd part ROADBOOK (Word, compressed with Winzip)


- First stop, for lunch 13-14h

- Arrival to the hotel (Nyon). We'll park our vehicules (open air) and eat a defined menu just beside.

SUNDAY (From Nyon to Basel) :

- Breakfast at 8AM

- Swiss french do join us for the start at 9AM to Basel (270km) : 1st part 2nd part 3rd part (P= Pause or checkpoint ; E= Lunch) ROADBOOK (Word, compressed with Winzip)

- Lunch : hot meal

- Around 5PM: arrival in Basel, end of the trip

Other details :

Checkpoints : regulary we'll shortly stop in order to wait the last ones and be sure everyone's here

Speed : everybody go at his own rythm, anyway we're waiting for you at the checkpoints. It's therefor useless to take any risk for the ones who don't know the roads. We drive through the villages with care and discretion

Pauses : we'll stop sometimes to refill and admire some beautiful places.

Route : You'll receive the roadbook and mobile phone numbers to call in case of problem.

We'll try to take some sandwiches and drink at your disposal just in case you're hungry ;-)
